A specially adapted carbide scriber point allows you to scribe and make markings with the caliper.

The special carbide scribing point attachs to the Extender Bar, and the special projection pin with a milled flat goes into the block attached to the movable jaw of the caliper. The flat of the pin goes against the edge of your material, and you scribe the line with the scriber’s carbide point.
